The City of Galax is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to replace the heat pump system (HVAC) at Chestnut Creek School of the Arts (CCSA): 100 N Main St, Galax, VA 24333. This includes the uninstallation and removal of the existing rooftop system prior to the installation and setup of the furnished system by the Awarded Bidder. 1. Replace existing HVAC system with a new 6-ton rooftop unit. 2. Disconnect, uninstall, and remove existing unit. 3. Bidder must provide specifications of equipment (make, model number). 4. Unit must be Carrier brand or equivalent in performance and design. 5. Replace entire wiring system with new wiring system. 6. Furnish, transport, and install new unit on-site at 100 N Main St. 7. All items must be assembled and set in place, ready for use. All crating and debris must be removed from premises. 8. All good and services to be warrantied The HVAC system must include the specifications described herein. Bidders are encouraged to conduct an on-site inspection prior to bid submission. Inspections can be scheduled by contacting City of Galax staff. The City of Galax reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
