The following scope of work identified under Exhibit A is intended for consultant to be responsible for conducting on-call roofing inspections, which involve comprehensive assessments of roofing systems to evaluate their condition, detect any signs of wear, damage, or potential failure, and provide detailed written recommendations for corrective actions. Additionally, they will perform site walks as required to assess the effectiveness of existing roofing systems, consider environmental and usage impacts, and offer written suggestions for enhancements or replacements. Moreover, for identified roofing projects, the consultant will develop precise scopes of work, encompassing specifications, materials, estimated timelines, and cost projections. These documents will serve as the basis for future bid solicitations from contractors, with the consultant abstaining from bidding on projects where they have contributed to the scope of work. Furthermore, the consultant will be available for emergency consultations within one business day (excluding weekends and holidays) in the event of sudden roofing failures or damage, providing swift assessment and recommendations for immediate actions to mitigate further damage. Maintenance activities will be performed on residential, collector and arterial streets and will include crack sealing, localized asphalt repairs, and pavement resurfacing. As part of the Roseland Annexation agreement, the County would provide $6.2M over a 10-year period to the City to make roadway improvements. This project is the third phase of pavement maintenance in Roseland as a result of the funding provided by Sonoma County.
