The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals for Water and Landfill Gas Monitoring Former Rural Landfills. Sonoma County Public Infrastructure, Integrated Waste Division owns and is responsible for three closed landfills, hereby referred to as the former rural landfills. Location maps for these sites are included within Attachment F. The County seeks consultant services to perform environmental monitoring and related work at these landfills throughout the county. This agreement is for a three-year term, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions. All questions related to this RFP must be in writing and no questions will be accepted by telephone or fax. The living wage rate required under the County's Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County's Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
