Fire Station Bay Floor Protective Coating. This Work Consists of Floor Coating and Resurfacing. Including the Following: - All Cracks and Spalls Are to Be Repaired Prior to Install of the Protective Floor Coating. - All Expansion Joints and Caw-cuts in the Current Floor Will Need to Be Filled With a Joint Compound. - All Existing Flooring Drains Will Need to Remain Removable Post Resurfacing Install. - Four (4) 4 Inch Yellow Lines Will Need to Be Installed (South to North) to Separate Each of the Bays. - Coating Will Be Non-slip and Have a Pleasant Appearance. - a Respectable Warranty Will Also Need to Be Provided Against Any Defects Post Install. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn After the Opening of Bids Without the Consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest. The Village Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids, and to Make Such Award as It May Deem to Be in the Best Interest of the Village. The Contractor Shall Be Required to Furnish Sufficient Insurance and Guaranty of Indemnity to the Village of Park Forest, Illinois Against Any and All Claims Which Might Arise for Damages to Persons or Property Due to the Negligence of Himself, His Employees, or His Agents During the Construction of Said Improvement and Until Said Improvement Has Been Fully Accepted as Complete by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest.
The Village Reserves the Right to Refuse to Issue Plans, Bid Forms, and Specifications to Any Person, Firm, or Corporation That It Considers to Be Unqualified. Proposals Must Be Submitted on the Forms Provided. No Less Than the Prevailing Rate of Wages as Determined by the Department of Labor or Determined by the Court on Review Shall Be Paid to All Laborers, Workmen and Mechanics Performing Work Under This Contract. The Village of Park Forest is Located in Cook and Will Counties.
