The scope of work generally consists of the construction of one underground stormwater detention facility including excavation; installation of outlet structures and manhole; installation of 15" storm sewers; underdrains; bituminous roadway restoration; bituminous mill and overlay; one alternate for storm pipe lining, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply if over $25,000.00. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Moon to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The scope of work includes the storm sewer improvements near intersection of Stillwood Drive and Hassam Road including approximately 1,155 linear feet of new storm sewers; installation of 6 underdrains, 6 storm manholes, 10 inlets, 1 outlet structure, riprap, roadway restoration, traffic control, and all necessary appurtenances for said construction.
