The Project includes the following scope of work at the City's Water Filtration Plant (WTP) located at 29 Moross Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236. Base Bid: Site preparation for the installation of a new 550 KW Cummins Natural Gas Generator, Model C550N6 that shall include all earth excavation, removals, concrete pavements, reinforcing steel for foundations, trenching, concrete wall coring, pavement sawing and removal, drainage tile, conduits, conductors, conduit sleeving through foundations, misc. fittings, finish grading, landscaping, and site restoration required to complete the project. a. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the site engineer or project manager as required and upon request. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing and providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the project. b. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with Consumers Energy for service upgrades required for generator supply line elevated pressure. The contractor shall provide additional connections that may not have been previously completed for the generator supply line as directed and shown on plans to complete the system. c. The contractor shall install materials as specified and shown on the plans unless otherwise approved by the owner or engineer.
