Reference Number 0000372819 The Owner, the City of Grosse Pointe Farms, is requesting bids for the construction of a stormwater force main and gravity sewer. In general, the work consists of installing approximately 3,400 LF of 48-inch PCCP stormwater force main, 3,400 LF of 60-inch and 38-inch by 60-inch RCP stormwater gravity sewer, and several cast in place structures. Sanitary sewer, water main, and roadway improvements are also included in this project. This project also involves work on the Country Club of Detroit's golf course. Timeliness is essential to the success of this project. The contractor shall follow the provided general construction schedule for the Work due to site access time restrictions. It is recommended the Bidder visit the work locations in the City's right of way at a different time before submitting a bid. Attendees shall bring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while visiting the work locations. Any verbal instructions or answers to questions during the site visit are not a part of the contract documents and cannot be used as a basis for bid pricing.
