In the event it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFQ prior to receipt of the quotations, it will be done by issuance of an addendum no less than five (5) calendar days, in advance of the date required for submission of the quotations The work required by the Contract Documents includes the complete installation and integration of eight new vibrating wire piezometers and four solar powered remote monitoring stations. All equipment must be compatible and capable of being integrated into the existing Canary ADAS (automated data acquisition system). Work includes, but is not limited to the following: a. Installation of eight Geokon 4500s vibrating wire piezometers to appropriate depths, within existing piezometer wells. The vibrating wire piezometers must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions located in appendix C. The vibrating wire piezometers will be provided by the owner. b. Purchase & Installation of four Canary Systems WRMT-AT-12S wireless remote stations or approved equal. c. Purchase & Installation of new antennas and repeaters as required to transmit data/ readings to the main data logger located in the I/O tower. d. Purchase and installation of all water tight fittings, cables and hardware required for a complete installation. e. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, supplies, labor and appurtenant items required for a complete and proper installation & integration. f. Installation of eight surge protectors to protect the monitoring stations and piezometers. Surge protectors will be provided by the owner. g. The mounting pole and conduit for cables are in place and installed (see pictures).
