Site work for a residential development in Vestal, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.

This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest. Contract term: Within 60 days of receiving the purchase order. NYS Labor law requires that all contracted employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. Certified payroll record/s MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. Information on prevailing wage can be found at: online. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Tabulation of quotes will be posted to the listings on NYS Contract Reporter along with the award. DESCRIPTION: Broome DDSO is seeking a vendor to restore damage done to the interior of a residential home by the installation of a sprinkler system at 2315 Donna Dr in Vestal NY. All work shall be completed per the attached stamped drawings and below scope of work. A site visit is mandatory to bid on this project, details are listed below at the end of the general requirements. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Restore damage done from the installation of a sprinkler system per the restoration notes and details in the attached stamped drawings. 2. Winning bidder shall coordinate restoration work with above listed point of contact and the Sprinkler Vendor. 3. Winning bidder shall responsible for correcting any deficiencies noted in inspections by the designer on record. Any questions or clarifications regarding the drawings shall be resolved by the designer on record in conjunction with the assigned engineer from OPWDD Capital Service. Communication to resolve any such issues shall take place through the mediation of the above listed point of contact. 4. All work must be completed according to all applicable codes, industry best standards, and manufacturer’s instructions. 5. Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent of designated supervisor. 6. All work must be warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work. Patch sheet rock, paint, and do other like work to restore Donna Drive living space after new sprinkler install. A site visit is mandatory. The site visit date is scheduled for DATE AND TIME at the project site. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
