Site work for a water / sewer project in Au Sable, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 29, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Water System Improvements, Contract 2 - New Water Meters :- The work includes providing and installing 1,131 water meters in the sizes specified while coordinating all work with the Township and its Customers. 200 meters within existing meter pits and the balance will be in be inside the structure. A pre-bid meeting for the project will not be held. This project is subject to prevailing wages. A minimum of three (3) DBEs must be contacted by a verifiable means of communication such as email, letter, or fax for each area of work to be subcontracted out. Copies of the solicitation letters/emails and fax confirmation sheets must be provided with the worksheet. AuSable Township reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of AuSable Township. The Work will be substantially complete on or before October 31, 2025 ; final completion- November 30, 2025. Question Deadline 06/17/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered Plan Holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
