Fire Station 252, Parking Lot Upgrades and Garage Door Enlargement. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq., N.j.a.c.17:27, and All Other Applicable Laws Referenced Within the Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents. Township of Medford Reserves the Right to (I) Reject All Bids Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 40a:11-13.2 and (Ii) to Waive Minor Informalities and/or Non-material Exceptions in Any Bid Should It Be in the Interest of the Township of Medford to Do So. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by (I) All Documents Listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as Applicable, and (Ii) a Bid Guarantee in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price as Established in the Proposal, Not to Exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The Bid Guarantee Must Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check, Must Be Drawn to the Order of Township of Medford and Must Be Delivered Simultaneous With the Sealed Bid. The Project Generally Includes 2,280 Sy of 10" Milling, 2,280 Sy of Dga 4" Thick, 550 Tons of Bituminous Base Course 4" Thick, 280 Tons Bituminous Surface Course Paving 2" Thick, 260 Sy of Concrete Driveway Apron Replacement, Traffic Striping, Further, Township of Medford Shall Reject Any Bid That Contains Material Nonconformities or Conditions, or Which is Materially Nonresponsive The Work ofthis Contract comprises the performance and completion ofthe entire Project within the time specified, including final cleaning up, the payment of all due obligations pertaining to the Project, and the replacing of defective work and materials, all in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Unless otherwise specified in the Supplementary Specifications, the Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, plant, machinery, equipment, water, light, heat, fuel, power, labor, superintendence, transportation, temporary construction, and all other services and facilities of every nature whatsoever necessary to execute, complete and deliver to the Owner a functional and operating Project in accordance with the Contract Documents within the time specified, and the cost thereofshall be included in the prices bid for the various items scheduled in the Bid. All challenges to bid specifications, questions and/or interpretations are to be presented within ten (10) business days prior to the bid opening and must be in writing, email is not acceptable. Challenges to the bid specifications filed thereafter shall have no effect on bid award.
