Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in performing architectural studies and design; the firm's experience evaluating and designing renovation projects involving courthouses or other historical buildings; availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities; references; and any previous work performed for Wood County and other public entities. Location: Wood County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, OH 43402 The County is seeking a space study of the first floor of the Wood County Courthouse, which includes approximately 14,230 square feet. The first floor primarily currently consists of the Domestic Relations Court (2 courtrooms, offices, and small meeting rooms), a Child Support Enforcement Agency office, a Clerk of Courts office, Court Security, Court Administration, Complex Security, an elevator, and restrooms. The study will review current use of space and provide renovation and/or space utilization alternatives to the County to address various court-related safety/security concerns. The study will also analyze the feasibility of replacing and modernizing the current elevator and evaluate the south stairway. The study should focus on maximizing the use of existing space as building expansion is not feasible. The historical integrity of the building and historical designations must be preserved.
