Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of two contracts. Contract A (Palmer Street) consists of the microsurfacing of approximately 6,983 square yards of pavement on Palmer Street, south of E. Bowman Street. Contract B (Portage Road) consists of the microsurfacing of approximately 14,681 square yards of pavement on Portage Road, between the SR3/83 overpass and SR585. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Project Completion Date: The preferred completion date is 10/1/2024; however, the contractor may elect to defer the work on one or both contracts until 2025, in which case the completion date will be 6/1/2025. The Engineer s estimated construction costs are $75,000 for Contract A and $150,000 for Contract B.
