May Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #147. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, placement of geotextile and geogrid and roadway construction with base material and #2A coarse aggregate. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. CONTRACT TERM The Contract shall commence upon delivery of Purchase Order to Contractor (estimated to be July 22, 2024) and shall terminate on September 27, 2024. All Work must be completed and accepted by this date. A Performance Bond at one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract. A Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
