Initiating Organization: Engineering District 9-0 Agreement Type: Open End Open End Sub-Type: Project Specific 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Design and Misc Services The Department of Transportation will retain a consultant firm for a project specific Open-end agreement for the services indicated below: The scope of the SR 0036 Section 47S project will include a Minor Alternative Analysis, Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Studies, Final Design and Construction Consultation Services for the highway safety improvements of four signalized intersections along the SR 36 Woodbury Pike Corridor in Blair County. Three locations are in Freedom Township on SR 36 Woodbury Pike at the following intersections: Dunnings Highway, Charger Highway, and Freedom Street. One intersection is located in both Roaring Spring Borough and Taylor Townships on SR 36 Woodbury Pike where it intersects with Spang Street. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and mobility at the intersections based on a 2021 corridor safety improvement study. Two intersections (Dunnings Highway and Charger Highway) will require new traffic and turning movement counts plus a re-evaluation of the intersections to identify alternative operational benefits for the safety improvements. The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in this agreement shall be 0 of the total agreement cost. Cost included in a DBE firm's price proposal as direct cost of work and services by others shall not count as DBE participation in this agreement, unless completed by a DBE firm. Additional information concerning DBE participation in this agreement is contained in the General Requirements and Information Section referenced below. The anticipated date of selection for this agreement is 02/11/2026, with a NTP on the first work order anticipated for 06/21/2026. The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in this agreement shall be 0 of the total agreement cost. Cost included in a DBE firm's price proposal as direct cost of work and services by others shall not count as DBE participation in this agreement, unless completed by a DBE firm.
