Masonry Restoration Location: Crawford Village 23-41 The primary objective is to restore exterior masonry at Crawford Village PA 5-3 buildings 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41. The Masonry Restoration project is to repair, repoint, parge, and replace areas of damaged masonry, as well as cleaning and sealing the brick. Masonry Restoration: Replace cracked, broken, and missing brick. Masonry Repointing: Clean and seal all masonry walls. Parge base of the exterior walls as indicated. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the McKeesport Housing Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The McKeesport Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin or age. In addition, the Contract will be under the requirements of Executive Order #11625 relative to new goals and timetables and Section III of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and where applicable. The McKeesport Housing Authority solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation. MBE's will be afforded full consideration of their responses and will not be subjected to discrimination.
