As of July 8,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Colony Drive Reconstruction (Brown Street to Gaines Street) For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - The Contractor will be required to have the project substantially completed in 58 working days or November 15th, 2024, whichever comes first. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
