The City of Muscatine is hereby soliciting written proposals from qualified playground equipment manufacturers and/or their designated representative for supplying, delivering, playground equipment installation, complete site preparation work, and safety surfacing installation for a playground located in Muscatine. These written proposals must be submitted in duplicate on the attached forms and will include appropriate plans and drawings, including demonstrating adequate safety separation from the road, photos and/or renderings, material specifications, installation instructions and cost information sufficient enough to fully describe all aspects of the play units and all components, cost of accessible/sensory component(s) shall be called out. If you organization is requested to make an oral presentation; prior to the oral presentation a bid security in an amount equal to 5% of the total proposals shall stand as security. Proposer shall provide a certified check or an acceptable bidder's bond for the project. Checks of unsuccessful proposers will be returned within 15 days after award of contract. The check of the successful proposer will be returned after entering into a contract and furnishing satisfactory performance and maintenance bonds.
