Site work for a water / sewer project in Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing and installing approximately 6,300 linear feet of ductile iron water main on Sweetwater Avenue and Hayden Lane as shown on the project plans. Alternate 1 includes furnishing and installing approximately 1,675 linear feet of eight-inch ductile iron water main on Dudley Road. The project also includes bypass piping, new copper services, hydrants and gate valves, erosion control, excavation, bituminous patching and other incidental items necessary to complete the required work. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing and emailed to Mike Sprague, Town Engineer at msprague@bedfordma.gov by the close of business (4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday) at least five (5) working days prior to the stated Bid Opening date. Questions presented after this time shall not be considered
