Site work for a water / sewer project in Berwick, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves the construction of new storm water infrastructure facilities along South Eaton Street including grass lined swales, storm water piping, headwalls, manholes and two dry extended detention basins and a storm water outlet structure to the river. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, bank cashiers check, or trust company treasurer's check in the amount of ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority. The successful bidder shall be expected to execute and file the proposed contract and to furnish and pay for Performance. Payment and other Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price as security for the performance of the contract and payment of all costs thereof within ten days after the award of the contract. The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority and Borough of Berwick reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in any bid, Question Deadline 06/19/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
