The primary focus of this work will be at various sewer pump stations and a water treatment facility; however, this contract may be utilized by multiple divisions. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment including a crane truck, supervision, insurances and bond, incidentals and appurtenances unless otherwise specified for performing all operations within this specification. Bidders are to quote pricing to include labor rate per hour for scheduled work during normal business hours, scheduled work outside of normal business hours, and emergency work, as well as a percentage mark-up added to the actual cost of materials. The labor rate is to be fully integrated to include all labor, tools, equipment, vehicles, appliances, supervision, insurances and bond, incidentals, and appurtenances. Bidders shall fully inform themselves of existing conditions at the Town's water and wastewater pumping stations and water and wastewater operational facilities. A lack of knowledge on any material fact or condition shall not excuse the successful bidder. These bid item tasks are for preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance for the Town-owned water and wastewater pump stations and facilities. The bidder must provide 24-hour/365-day emergency response service at these facilities. Typical work shall include but not be limited to maintenance on pump motors, grinders, comminutors, muffin monsters, motor control centers, variable frequency drive instrumentation and alarm work. The Contractor shall accomplish said work items in accordance with acceptable electrical practices. The Contractor shall pull all necessary electrical permits with the proper approving agency to conduct any required electrical work.
