Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes the following Work: The Project base bid consists of tar and chip treatment on the streets of Sewickley Heights Drive, Rhodes Avenue, Overlook Drive, and Merriman Road, and pavement markings on Sewickley Heights Drive and Merriman Road. Alternate 1 includes tar and chip treatment for School Street, Bixwood Drive, and Berdine Drive, and pavement markings for School Street. Additional bidding requirements are found in Section 00 21 13, "Instructions to Bidders", of the Bidding Documents. All bidders must submit bid security of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid. For ail further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
