Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Quantico, Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Mechanical work includes but not limited to replacement of (2) chillers with a steel platform, (6) AHU's, terminal units, exhaust fans, replacement of all circulation pumps and VFD's, new controls need to be integrated into existing Siemens building DDC control system. Selective demolition and replacement are required for ACT and gypsum ceilings and wall finishes impacted by mechanical work. Patch and seal all existing and new openings in floors and walls. Reconfiguration of existing sprinkler heads and piping is required. Pre Proposal Inquiry (PPIs): Offerors who determine that the technical and or contractual requirements of this RFP require clarification(s) in order to permit submittal of a responsive proposal may submit questions. All inquiries must be made in writing and shall be submitted via email to the POC Dotty M. Medel at email dotty.m.medel.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 22 May 2024 by 2:00 PM EST no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the proposal due date with inquiries attached as a Excel document (no tables please). See Attachment D. Do not submit the same inquiry more than once. Please verify that inquiries submitted by you on behalf of your subcontractors are not duplicates. A response will be published via an amendment *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
