To supply and install safe water play equipment with a universal design, fully accessibility for all, with surfacing that will offer a variation of experience, aesthetic appeal, accessibility to all individuals, and is compliant with but not limited to, current Canadian Standards Association (CSA) (spec's Z614:20) Safety Standards, B.C. Guidelines for Pool Design and Operations (Health Act). The District seeks high-quality safe water play equipment arranged to maximize a variety of activities and interests which is universally accessible and designed with activities suitable for all abilities and ages. The splash park should be a vibrant, colorful playground designed for children to enjoy waterbased fun in a safe environment. Examples of the features can range from a variety of interactive water elements such as fountains, sprayers, water tunnels, and tipping buckets. The ground must be made of slip-resistant materials to prevent accidents. It's a perfect spot for young ones to cool off and have a blast during hot summer days. The design of the splash park may creatively integrate elements inspired by the local area, such as natural elements, native flora, fauna, or landmarks, to provide a unique and immersive experience that reflects the community's identity.
