Furnish & Install Asphaltic Concrete Under 200 Tons, Per Project. Each responding Contractor must supply a Bid Bond or Bid Deposit (certified check, cashiers check, bank money order, bank draft of any national or state bank), in a sum of not less than 5% of the total Contract amount made payable to the City. The Contractor shall perform work as related to supplying and installing City designated areas of asphaltic concrete paving in quantities of two hundred (200) tons or less, per project. Proposals must be submitted to the City within ten (10) business days of the Project Manager's request unless otherwise noted. Upon receiving a purchase order, the Contractor shall furnish all labor and material, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary for the proper execution of the work unless specifically noted otherwise. Work must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of the issuance of the purchase order unless otherwise noted. Payments under the contractual pay items of the purchase order shall be inclusive of all services required and no additional payment shall be made. The City of Port St. Lucie (City) requires Asphaltic Concrete Paving services on a per project basis for projects utilizing no greater than 200 tons. The work completed under this project shall adhere to rules and conditions described in the following reference materials: o Division II Construction Details and Division III Materials of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction FY 2024-25 located within the FDOT Standard Specifications Library.
