The Prince William County Department of Facilities & Fleet Management is seeking proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering Design Firms for Design and Construction Administration Services for Phases 1 and 2 of the Prince William County Capital Project entitled "Judicial Center - New Facility (JCNF)". The Judicial Center - New Facility will be located at: 9320 Mosby Street, Manassas, VA 20110, GPIN: 7795-39-7511 and 9300 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110 GPIN: 7795-48-1570. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The existing Judicial Center Complex located at 9300 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110 (GPIN: 7795-48-1570) consists of approximately 160,000 square-feet that includes the following general operational spaces: Seven (7) Circuit courtrooms Six (6) General District courtrooms Six (6) Juvenile & Domestic Relations District courtrooms Associated Clerk offices for all three (3) Courts Commonwealth Attorney offices Sheriff's Department offices A recent masterplan effort (completed in January 2023) contained several recommendations to adequately address the Court's needs for the next twenty years. Based upon options presented in the masterplan and funding considerations, this project consists of 2 phases that will occur concurrently. This project will be funded through the sale of public bonds. Additionally, this project does not contain any requirements related to a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) designation. CONTRACT PERIOD The contract period shall begin on the date of the contract's Notice to Proceed (NTP) through design, construction, and closeout phases of the project. The contract period shall terminate one (1) year after the contract substantial completion date or expiration of the contract warranty period.
