Remodeling of an educational facility in Richfield, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 109-square-foot educational facility.

Project Scope: The Cedar Ridge Teen Center Remodel project consists of remodeling an existing restroom approximately 110 square feet total. This will include the demolition of a wall, millwork, flooring and ceiling, framing of a new wall, installing the existing door, framing in a new shower, and matching existing finishes. Some electrical and mechanical will be involved. The project also consists of a pavilion to be constructed outside the building on the south east corner, consisting of concrete footing and foundations, with a metal pavilion structure to be built on top. Project Location: Cedar Ridge High School, 555 W 100 N, Richfield, UT 84701. All questions must be submitted by 5:00p.m on Friday, June 7, 2024. A Bid Bond, a Certified or Cashier's Check or not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, made payable to the order of Sevier School District shall be received by the District Office at or before the time stated in the Notice to Contractors. Said guarantee shall be given as surety that in case of refusal or failure to enter into said contract, the bid guarantee shall be forfeited to the School District. AWARD OR REJECTION OF BIDS: The award of the contract shall not be based solely upon the Contractor's price. The Contractor's qualifications, subcontractors list, cost breakdown, proposed construction schedule and Contractor's project references shall be considered in awarding the contract. The owner, however, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received. BONDS: The successful Bidders simultaneously with the execution of the agreement will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds shall be secured from a Surety Company satisfactory to the Owner prior to commencement of construction. Name of Surety Company that the Contractor proposes to use shall be noted on the proposal as indicated. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The Contractor agrees to complete the work required by the contract in or prior to calendar 165 days from the start of construction to Proceed. The district will anticipate that the Notice to Proceed will be issued by June 17, 2024. The Board reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all proposals, or waive any informality in a proposal.
