Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work to be performed includes two contracts. Contract No. 1 includes approximately 51,400 square yards of curbline milling, 50 tons of Superpave leveling course, and 13,350 tons of Superpave wearing course. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry must be paid to all workers involved with Contract No. 1. Contract No. 2 includes 145,950 SY of Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course or Cape Seal and 1,850 GAL of crack seal on various township roads. PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates are not applicable to Contract No. 2. All potential bidders shall note that both contracts include the same roadways. Lower Heidelberg Township intends to award either Contract No. 1 or Contract No. 2. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening, and the Work must be completed not more than sixty days (60) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Lower Heidelberg Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated due to budget limitations.
