The work of the contract can be described as the following: 1. The facility will be located on City-owned property at 948 Newman Court in Gatlinburg, TN. 2. The project consists of 22 covered trolley parking areas, 2 enclosed trolley garages, one garage for pickup trucks, office space, restrooms, and break/training area. The trolley sheds are 9,012 SF, the enclosed garage is 1,543 SF, and the office area is 2,644 SF. 3. The buildings will be type VB non-sprinklered construction per 2018 International Building Code. The sheds and garage will be metal buildings, and the office area will be wood framed with wood roof trusses. 4. The site has been rough graded in a previous contract. The Owner's budget is $4,800,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The City reserves the right to reject all responses to the RFQ. The City will not pay costs associated with the preparation of a proposal. There is no guarantee the construction phase portion of the contract will be awarded.
