Renovation of a residential development in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Dauphin County Redevelopment Authority, on behalf of Dauphin County, is seeking housing rehabilitation contractors to act as standing general contractors and construction services providers for the Dauphin County Whole Home Repairs Program. This program is 100% funded by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Dauphin County is appropriating approximately $2 million to homeowner rehabilitation activities. The construction services contractor will be responsible for coordinating and executing home rehabilitation construction activities at sites selected for a Dauphin County Whole- Home Repairs Grant. This includes, but is not limited to, working with the county staff and home rehabilitation specialists to scope projects, conducting home rehabilitation construction activities within the identified scope, ensuring all federal, state, and local rules and regulations are complied with including local permitting and inspection rules, working with homeowners to coordinate work on site, ensuring quality craftsmanship for all work completed, delivering projects in an organized and timely manner, and complying with program rules including state rules and regulations governing the program.
