Renovation of a water / sewer project in Taylorville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work shall generally consist of: Selective demolition of three (3) woodjiame well houses including existing electrical and HVAC equipment and replacement with new 111aso 111y block well houses. Existing electrical and HVAC equipment will be removed and replaced at Well #,2 and removed and reused at Wells #3 & #4. A new dieselpowered 60 kW, 75 kVA emergency backup generator and associated automatic tranefer switch will also be installed at Weil #2. In submitting Proposals for the planned work, the Bidder shall declare that only persons or parties interested in the proposed work as Principals are those contained in the Proposal; and that the Proposal is made without collusion with any other person, firm or corporation. All questions of a technical nature regarding the project will only be answered in writing by Addendum. Any questions may be submitted by telephone or in writing to Jim Morris, jmorris@bentonassociates.com,or at the PreBid Meeting. The Owner may waive any informalities or reject any or all bids, and to determine which is the lowest, responsive, responsible bid based upon the Base Bid for the work.
