As of June 27, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 18, 2024 Bannock County requests sealed proposals for the removal of one (1) boiler and installation of two (2) new low-pressure steam boilers at the Elections building. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of services requested by this RFP is to provide the following installation. Contractor must be properly licensed and secure necessary permits whenever applicable. The awarded contractor must provide proof of sufficient insurance, naming Bannock County as additional insured before work begins. See Appendix B - Architectural Drawings for additional information regarding design and specifications. Description of Work Contractor shall provide technical specifications and product data submitted with proposal. Contractor must disassemble the current boiler to remove from the building. Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris from the removal and/or installation. All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. Contractor shall secure the job site overnight if work is not completed. If building or County properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary at the Contractor's expense. Some disruptions to work may occur due to noise restrictions inside the courthouse. Two (2) new boilers shall be installed as directed by the engineered plans attached. They must be configured to provide redundancy in case of breakdown. All main steam valves are to be replaced including one (1) inside the courthouse. Changes to the existing control system are included in the engineered plans.
