Site work and paving for a civil project in Bonifay, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project primarily consists of the widening and resurfacing of CR 181 from SR 81 to CR 179A (Pine Street) for a total project length of 8.130 miles. The existing 20 wide roadway will be widened 2 feet on each side and resurfaced along with the addition of 4' paved shoulders on the interior of select horizontal curves. New 5 feet deep asphalt aprons will be constructed at existing driveways along with new asphalt turnouts at unpaved side roads. Shoulder work, guardrail, roadway excavation and concrete ditch paving will also be included along with drainage improvements consisting of cross drain culvert extensions/replacement and concrete end treatments. Also included in this project is polyurethane injection for subgrade stabilization and concrete spalling repair of existing box culverts. Signing and thermoplastic pavement markings are also included in this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570.
