The Project generally consists of the furnishing of all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of approximately 3,600 LF of 24i PVC gravity sewer placed in parallel to an existing 15i gravity sewer system running along Waldens Creek. The work shall include, but is not limited to, construction of the new sewer line, eighteen (18) watertight manholes (48i Dia.), pavement repair, bore and jack casing pipe installation under Highway 321 (Wears Valley Road), location and protection of existing utilities, general site work/clearing, excavation (including rock)/shoring/bedding/backfilling of the new line, dewatering trenches, disposal of surplus excavated material, abandonment of existing sewer pipes and manholes, relocation/encasement of existing utilities, tie-ins to existing structures, bypass pumping during construction, restoring all live services from the old line to the new line, line cleaning/testing/cctv, all finished grading/property restoration/erosion and sediment control measures, and in general all appurtenances for a complete and operable system.
