This project is a standard low bid project and includes: general construction The work under this Contract shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, material, devices, tools and equipment required for the construction of an open-air structure and associated synthetic turf located in Area 15, Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA. and shall be in total accordance with the specifications and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of all other Contract Documents. ESTIMATED RANGE: General Construction - $1,000,001.00 - $1,500,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Liquidated Damages: General Construction - $370.00 per day. Contact Information Tina Rebuck , 717-861-8794 trebuck@pa.gov The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Bidders now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders section regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise Participation for further information. The Goals for each Prime Contract is as follows: SDB AND VBE GOALS .1 General Construction - SDB = 10.0% VBE = 3.0% Duration: 270 days from the Notice to Proceed It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide, maintain, and remove all facilities and equipment necessary for construction operations for individual Contracts. All restoration required due to contract operations, shall be the responsibility of each individual Contractor for his location/area of operation, at no expense to the Department. Where there is conflict with responsibility, the General Contractor shall be responsible for restoration, at no cost to the Department. 1. These items include, but are not limited to: a. Costs and use charges associated with the facility. b. Plug-in cords, power cords, and extension cords, power tools. c. Task lighting and special lighting necessary for construction operations. d. Storage and fabrication structures/areas. e. Temporary enclosures for construction activities. f. Hoisting equipment for construction activities. g. Waste disposal facilities, including collection and legal disposal of its own waste materials. h. Daily cleaning of work area. i. Secure lockup of tools, materials, and equipment. j. Construction aids, services, and facilities necessary for individual construction activities.
