Reference Number 0000271454 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/06/18 02:00:00 PM EDT The Scope of Work Generally Includes the Tree Pruning, Sapling or Overgrowth Removal, and Tree Removal Services at Various Och Communities, Ottawa, as Further Defined in the Attached Specification and Drawing Package by Ottawa Community Housing. The Scope of Work Generally Includes, but is Not Limited to the Following: 1. Structural and Maintenance Pruning of Trees Located on Och Properties, Including Climbing or Mechanical Lift if Necessary; 2. Cut and Removal of Dead and/ or Hazardous Trees Located on Och Properties, Including Permits, Stump Grinding of All Trees Bigger That 20cm Dbh, Include Crane if Necessary; 3. Remove Saplings, Overgrowth, at the Front or Backyard of the Address, or Grubbing and Clearing Along the Fence Lines on Och Properties, as Per the List of Addresses Provided on Schedule H of This Tender; 4. Contractor to Discard All Material (Including Clearing, Grubbing, Tree Removals, Etc.) and Remove Debris Away From Och Property on a Daily Basis. Contractor Will Be Responsible for Their Own Waste Container and Garbage Removal; 5. Removal of Tree Stakes and Guy Wire From Trees Located on Och Properties; 6. Contractor Shall Verify and Locate All Existing Services in the Field; 7. Contractor is Responsible for Providing Approved Ppe for Own Staff, and Protection for All Existing Electric and Gas Utilities During Contract Execution, and Coordinate With Utility Suppliers Power Shutdowns or Their Own Work to Complete the Work in Och Properties; 8. The Contractor Shall Barricade Access to Working Area, and Protect Surrounding Private and Public Property From Damage During Performance of Work; 9. The Contractor Should Not Remove Tenants Planters, Fruit Trees, Grape Vines, Vegetables or Flower Beds Without Permit From Project Manager, and is Responsible for Damage Incurred and Pay All Costs for Correction; 10. The Contractor Shall Execute Work to Cause Minimum Interference and Inconvenience With Activities in Existing Occupied Off-site Premises and Maintain Safety to Occupants; 11. For Payment Purposes, Maintain a Complete Accurate Log of Control by Site and Address, as It Progresses for the Purpose of This Contractor's Work, as Per Detail on Schedule H Listing; 12. The Unit Price Calculation in Schedule H, Which is a Tool for Contractors to Obtain the Final Price Per Address, Will Be Reviewed at the Start Up Meeting With the Successful Bidder for This Contract; 13. Attend Project and Such Other Meetings as Required and/or as Requested; 14. Keep a Permanent Written Record of the Progress of the Work for All Phases of the Work and Make Available or Provide a Copy When Requested. The Record Shall Show Addresses and the Dates of Commencement and Completion of All Parts of the Work Coming Under the Contract; 15. The Contractor Shall Plan and Schedule the Work to Provide a Continuous and Efficient Flow of the Work to Achieve the Contractor Completion Date, and the Overall Project Completion Date; 16. Please Note That, in the Event of a Discrepancy Between Schedule D - Scope of Work and Schedule G - Design Package, the Requirements of Schedule D Shall Supersede Schedule G, Per the Supplemental Conditions. 17.
