Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work to be done in general consists of mobilization, traffic control, storm water pollution control, potholing of existing utilities, clearing and grubbing, tree trimming, bypass pumping of sanitary sewer flows, open trench replacement of sanitary sewer mains and laterals, pipe bursting of sanitary sewer mains and laterals, CIPP lining of existing sewer lines, sewer cleanout installations, manhole rehabilitation, grind and overlay, traffic striping and markings, and all other work as specified in these Special Provisions and shown in the Drawings. The Contractor may elect to receive 100% of payments due under the contract from time to time, without retention of any portion of the payment by the City, by depositing securities of equivalent value with the City in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code and with applicable City regulations. Such securities, if deposited by the Contractor, will be valued by the City's Finance Director, whose decision on valuation of the securities. will be final.
