Q&A Deadline 06/17/2024 12:00 PM (PDT) Questions are to be submitted through online The City of Palm Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified professionals to provide environmental and engineering services for proposed improvements to Rim Road, from Bisnaga Avenue to Southridge Drive in the Araby Cove Neighborhood in Palm Springs. The Project will require extensive environmental and engineering analysis, community outreach and coordination to provide engineering design, construction cost estimates, mapping, and right-of-way services for the widening of Rim Road. Related Projects: The Responder must list three (3) projects completed within the last five (5) years' showing environmental and engineering related work for a public agency. The firms' contract price for these projects must be equal to or greater than $120,000 each (design/support costs, not total construction costs). Responders shall outline this experience in Section A of the request for proposals. Business License: The selected firm will be required to be licensed in accordance with the City of Palm Springs Business License Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter 3.40 through 3.96, entitled "Business Tax". Responders may obtain the license after award but must do so promptly as the license will be routed with the contract for final signature. The City of Palm Springs reserves the right to waive any informality or technical defect in a proposal and to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all proposals and to cancel all or part of this RFP and seek new proposals, as best serves the interests of the City. The City furthermore reserves the right to contract separately with others certain tasks if deemed in the best interest of the City.
