Deadline for receipt of vendor questions June 20, 2024, by 5:00 pm prevailing local time, Alexandria, Virginia Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing via email to the following Contract Specialist: Tony Esse, Capital Procurement Specialist 301 King Street, Room 3200 Alexandria, VA 22314 Email: tony.esse@alexandriava.gov The City has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQU) to solicit qualifications from interested and qualified firms to provide Owner Advisor (OA) services to the City. The services will be in support of the Duke Street Transitway project utilizing a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method. The Owner Advisor (OA) will act as an extension of the City's staff. The OA will work with the City's Project Manager to create a comprehensive CMAR contract, advise on the execution, provide oversight, and assist in the implementation of the CMAR contract. The OA must work to ensure the CMAR delivery method aligns with the City's best interests throughout the course of the Project. The scope of services requested is focused on the CMAR delivery management. The Owner Advisor shall have a strong background with CMAR delivery for transportation projects; this knowledge will enable them to provide support and guidance on project elements such as project cost, approach, and schedule.
