Site work for a water / sewer project in Summerland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Through this Request for Proposal ("RFP"), the District of Summerland, hereafter referred to as the "District", invites proposals for the following: Replace a below-ground PRV station (PRV #7) with an above-ground PRV station including new piping and equipment. Below-ground PRV to be decommissioned and parts either salvaged or scrapped. Question Deadline 06/19/2024 The point of contact at the District of Summerland for any queries or questions related to this RFP (RFP Contact Person) is: Dana Silk, Manager of Procurement & Contract Administration cc: Mike Owen, P.Eng, Associated Engineering Email: procurement@summerland.ca cc: owenm@ae.ca Municipal Meeting 07/17/2024 Based on a Contract award The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: Replace a below-ground Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) station at Solly Road and Latimer (PRV#7) with an above-ground PRV station including new piping and equipment. The District of Summerland has already procured the PRV and it is currently being stored in the District yard. The existing below-ground PRV station was built in 1974, and the equipment requires upgrading. The project will allow easier and safer staff access, and eliminate the confined space hazard associated with in-ground spaces. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
