Colonies Water System Upgrades. Replacement of water storage tanks, pumps, pressure reducing valve and appurtenant fixtures The New Kent County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for replacement of water storage tanks, pumps, pressure reducing valve and appurtenant fixtures at the Colonies Water System, in Lanexa, Virginia. The County intends to award this IFB to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Department of Public Utilities reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any bid received, to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause. The Department reserves the right to reject any conditional bid and will normally reject any bid which makes it impossible to determine the intent of the bid. Event Bid notes: It is the submitting bidder's responsibility to verify that sealed bids have been received by the time & date specified. Bids that are not received on time or appropriately identified will be returned to the submitting vendor unopened. All bid packages received on time and appropriately labeled will be recorded and publicly opened immediately thereafter. Bid packages shall be submitted in duplicate in the sealed & labeled envelope.
