The NORTH READING Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Contractors for the: 667-01, Development in NORTH READING Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by DAVID L. KING ARCHITECTS INC. The Project consists of: Replacing Storm Doors The work is estimated to cost $ 41,000 Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A (2)(B) & to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. GENERAL SCOPE OF THE WORK A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Remove and dispose of existing storm doors and install new storm doors as shown in the drawings. The base bid includes 41 doors, but the owner may request the addition of the replacement of more storm doors, and a unit price has been provided for this possibility. 2. Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 3. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. Site must be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight. C. Warranties/Guaranties: Manufacturers Product Warranties. Roofers Warranty. Standard General Contractors 1 year warranty.
