Phase Two of the Hillview Golf Course - Course Improvements The Work consists ofthe renovation oftees, sand bunkers, paths, fairways, roughs and irrigation system and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings attached hereto. The award of the contract will be subject to the approval of the Hillview Commission and the Town Administrator. The Town expressly reserves the right to reject any and all proposals 1. Complete all existing turf removal, topsoil stripping, grading, excavating, filling, shaping, backfilling, loaming, finish work and drainage as described on the plans and specifications. 2. Furnish and install all plant, labor, equipment and materials (except as noted). 3. Replace and/or restore disturbed areas including shrubbery, paths, grass, posts, signs, trees, etc. within the project site. 4. Install and maintain all erosion protection (silt fence and/or straw wattles). 5. Dispose ofon-site any excess material and appurtenances from excavation removed as fill but not required as part of the Contract, at the expense of the CONTRACTOR and to the satisfaction ofthe OWNER.. Drainage pipe, irrigation pipe, etc. shall be disposed ofoffsite by the CONTRACTOR. 6. Stripping and stockpiling of existing topsoil in work areas. 7. Provision and installation ofdrainage improvements. 8. Expansion and reduction offairway areas. 9. Shaping offairways, mounds, tees, bunkers and other disturbed areas. 10. Provision and installation of topsoil and fill within the golf course to meet requested elevations and grades. 11. Provision, delivery and installation of all construction materials needed, except as noted. 12. Provision and installation of new and re-installation of existing irrigation materials as directed or needed. 13. Returning or importing topsoil, cultivating, adding soil amendments, finish grading, preparing for grassing, seeding and mulching or sodding, and protection of all disturbed areas within the project. 14. Carefully blending the edges ofnew work areas with existing grass. 15. Provision and installation of all sod, the initial watering of installed sod and any watering ofthat sod until the entire area ofwork on a hole is completed. 17. Repair of existing cart paths, where damaged, and installation of new paths where proposed. Saw-cutting and repair of existing paths where joined with new paths or where piping crosses existing paths. 18. Clean up and removal from site of all debris not previously disposed of. Repair of haul roads resulting from construction. 19. Provision ofirrigation and drainage as-builts with revised features. 20. Maintenance and warranty of plant materials for a period of one (1) year after substantial completion ofproject.
