The project consists of the Drip Dispersal System for inclusion as an allowance in a general construction contract. Drip Disposal System "Vendor" as "Seller" shall be required to furnish equipment as specified herein to the awardee of the general contract ("Buyer") at the bid price submitted. The Drip Dispersal System shall provide subsurface discharge of municipal wastewater treated to a secondary plus (Secondary+) level of wastewater treatment as described in the Indirect Discharge Rules of the State of Vermont, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation, Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total Bid submitted must accompany the Bid. Failure to submit such with the Bid will render the Bidder non-responsive, and the Bid will not be read. A Bid may be withdrawn through online at any time prior to the date and time of the opening of Bids. If a Bidder wishes to modify their Bid prior to Bid opening, Bidder must withdraw the initial Bid in the manner specified above and submit a new Bid prior to the date and time for the opening of Bids. A Bidder may withdraw any proposal submitted prior to the hour set for the closing of the Bids. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening. All questions by prospective BIDDERS as to the interpretations of the INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS, Forms of PROPOSAL, Form of CONTRACT, Plans, Specifications or BONDS, must be submitted in writing to the Consulting Engineer, at least seven (7) days before the date herein set for the opening of BIDS.
