The County of Santa Barbara General Services, Procurement Services seeks a contractor to repair a structural roof collapse at the Crisis Stabilization Unit per the specifications in this Invitation for Bid. If this Contract is for more than $25,000.00, before commencement of any Work under this Contract, the CONTRACTOR shall provide the security required by California Civil Code section 9550 for the payment of all workers and suppliers ("Payment Bond"), and security for the faithful performance of all terms and conditions of this Contract ("Performance Bond"), in the amounts and forms approved by the COUNTY, provided that the Payment Bond shall be for no less than 100% of the Maximum Contract Amount, and each of the Payment Bond and the Performance Bond shall contain provisions that automatically increase the amount thereof and/or time of completion, or both, sufficient to cover all Change Orders (if any), extensions, and additions to the Work provided under this Contract.. Question Deadline 06/14/2024 The County will publish answers to the questions in an addendum to the IFB on Tuesday, June We reserve the right to reject any or all Replies. Minor irregularities or informalities in any Reply which are immaterial or inconsequential in nature, and are neither affected by law nor at substantial variance with Invitation conditions, may be waived at our discretion whenever it is determined to be in the County's best interest. In such cases, we may allow a Bidder to make minor corrections to any part of their Reply, with the exception of price data that could affect price comparisons between Bidders. The County reserves the right to reject any and or all Bids or waive any informality in a Bid. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
