The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, DC, is the nation's first college-prepaRenovation to Staff Apartments The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, D.C. is inviting firms to submit proposals for the Renovations to Staff Apartments. This specification describes the labor and materials necessary to remove and replace the renovation of the school staff apartments, which serve the staff at 4300 C Street, SE Washington, D.C. 20019. The proposal should include all required permits and equipment costs. Brand Name or Equal A Brand Name is used to identify the characteristics and the level of quality that will satisfy SEED's requirements. Proposed 'or equal' units must be of the same quality and comply with the manufacturer's requirements and specifications, physical functional, and performance characteristics. The Respondent shall state the proposed manufacturer's name and part number and provide sufficient documentation in SEED's judgment to determine whether the bid constitutes an 'or equal.' Scope of Work The tasks that must be performed to replace these units include, but are not limited to, the following: Demo units- as needed Prep, patch, and paint all walls and cabinets Electrical Plumbing Flooring Remove and install new appliances Install new closet doors Warranty The respondent must provide a minimum warranty for labor costs for five years after completing the required work. The respondent must administer the component or equipment manufacturer's warranty during the five-year labor warranty period. The respondent must provide SEED with the component or manufacturer's warranty documents that cover the installed equipment for a minimum of 5 years. The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, DC, is the nation's first college-preparatory public boarding school. Our mission is to provide an outstanding, intensive educational program that prepares children academically and socially for success in college and beyond. Currently, we serve approximately 250 students in grades 9 through 12. Students spend 120 hours per week on campus from Sunday through Fridayratory public boarding school.
