Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint James, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project entails the installation of a new air handler system at the high school and middle school band and choirrooms. This includes new ground mounted AHH with a new chilled and hot water distribution. Project also includes new VAV-RH boxes, finned tube, ductwork, and extension of existing building automation system work. Mechanical contractor is to include necessary modifications and improvements for concrete, masonry, fencing, and restoration of interior finishes. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check payable to the St. James Public Schools in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described in the proposal. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. The Owner will retain the deposits for the three lowest bidders until the contract has been awarded and executed, but for no longer than sixty (60) days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, in the interest of the Owner. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is between $300,000 to $500,000.
