Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Demolition of three structures at One Jim Fear Drive and filling of the sites with quality filling, all in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Borough is soliciting bids for the demolition of three structures at One Jim Fear Drive and filling of the sites with quality filling. The contract shall begin within thirty (30) days from the signing of the contract and shall conclude within sixty (60) days from the commencement date. All bidders shall submit with their bid proposal with a description of the machinery they intend to use and the fill they intend to use at the demolition sites and all other information required in the bid specifications. This request for proposals is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%)(not to exceed $20,000.00) of the Total Aggregate Bid for the Two Year Contract Term, payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder he will enter into a contract with the Borough. Each bidder must complete and submit with his proposal the Ownership Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, NonCollusion Affidavit and Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran contained in the Contract Documents. Each bidder will be required to submit a copy of the contractor's (and subcontractors if any) NJ Business Registration Certificate as required pursuant to P.L. 2011, Chap 57, in order to be eligible for consideration for award of this Contract. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding affirmative action. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder based upon the option or options chosen by the Borough after the opening of bids, according to the criteria set forth in the Contract Documents. The Borough reserves the right to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities. The award of a multi-year contract will be subject to the appropriation and availability of funds for the succeeding contract year. A PRE-BID SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF A BID. Bidders may contact Ana M. Thomas, CFO/Borough Treasurer at (973) 538-2229 to arrange for a pre-bid Site visit.
