John Jay Middle School Additions and Alterations - Contract 4 -EC Question Deadline 06/14/2024 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project consists of performing Alterations at the Additions and Alterations at the John Jay Middle School for the Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District as shown on the Contract Drawings and described in the Specifications. 1. The scope of the Work of this project selective demolition of interior construction to allow for renovations to the building interior spaces including the classrooms, auditorium, toilet rooms, family and consumer science rooms, stepped lab, and technology rooms, new additions for greenhouse, security vestibule and security office, and MEP, electrical, A/V and lighting upgrades to various spaces. 2. The Work will be performed at the John Jay Middle School located at 40 North Salem Road, Rte. 121, Cross River, NY 10518. 3. The Contract Documents shall consist of (a) the project specifications, including these instructions to Bidders; b) the Owner-Contractor Agreement; c) the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction; and d) the successful bidder's bid. TYPE OF CONTRACTS The Work of this Project will be let in four (4) separate contracts divided according to the work of the separate Prime Contractors for the following: 1. Contract No. 1 - General Construction Work 2. Contract No. 2 - Plumbing Work. 3. Contract No. 3 - HVAC Work 4.
