January 2025 Contract Award March 31, 2025 Project Completion Date The Department of Facilities, Fleet & Emergency Support Services of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests bids from responsible highly-qualified companies for the provision of the removal of the existing fire pump assembly (including disposal) and the purchase/installation of one (1) NEW Full Service Electric Fire Pump Controller with Automatic Power Transfer Switch and Jockey Pump Controller Panel at the Robert A. Christensen Justice Center located at 4000 Justice Way, Castle Rock, Colorado 80109. The equipment bid shall meet all current safety regulations and manufacturing standards. The components selected shall be new and rated for commercial use. The equipment must be NEW and shall be the manufacturer's current year production model as of the delivery date, not a model slated to be phased out of production. With your response, bidders must submit the latest printed literature and detailed specifications on the equipment bid. Do not exclude or delete any major or minor items notspecifically mentioned but which would normally and reasonably be necessary for proper, safe, and beneficial use and ownership. This project requires access to multiple areas within the Justice Center and access to privileged County information. As such, the successful bidder, associated personnel, and all subcontractors must pass a background check prior to the start of work and access to the facility. The background checks will be completed by Douglas County. Douglas County reserves the right to deny access to any employee on County property who is identified as a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the County and/or its population.
